My name is Dave Halls. I’m married to Wendy with four married children and five grandkids so far. Apart from enjoying my family, life is all about journeying as team leader with a missional church, connecting with other leaders and trying to find the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit without the baggage of Charismatic culture.
My grandparents were converted during the Pentecostal renewal in the 1920’s and a couple of generations on, Wendy and I left our Pentecostal denomination to start a house church in 1973. Now I am part of the team leading Dayspring, a church in the market town of Chippenham in Wiltshire where I contribute mainly through team building and networking, though I talk a lot too!
I have recently completed an MA in Emerging Church with a view to getting into some serious research in the areas of missiology and pentecostal/charismatic studies. I am a student member of the Society for Pentecostal Studies and a member of the European Pentecostal Theological Association.
